everyone's opinion on this song so far has been about the same, and I agree. I've been listening to this song on repeat for the past couple of weeks since my boyfriend told me that he doesn't know if we should continue going out because he just doesn't treat me the way he should. he literally told me that I would be happier without him and much better off. but he can't prove that, in my opinion. it's rather sad really. I don't want to give what we had up but he thinks it's best for us both to move on. and at the same time he keeps coming back because he doesn't want to hurt me... anyway. I think this song is a lot similar to my current situation. I adore it. it's really helping me keep positive thoughts and hopefully soon I'll be "happier." : ) |

| love this song so much. my boyfriend bought it for me because he said he thought I'd like it and that it reminded him of our relationship : ) which I thought was incredibly sweet even though I had already heard this song long before then and told him about it and he had just kinda ignored me haha. but still, I was thrilled and we sing it to eachother over the phone when we're not together (since we live like 1300 miles aparts and see eachother once a month at the most) but it's always been great and sharing music with eachother eases everything a lot. so yeah. anyway. this song can be interpreted in a lot of different ways. but for the sole purpose of my boyfriend and I I'm going to pretend it was written just for us. : P | |

I must say, I adore this song. The lyrics are so simple, so sweet, so pure, and just perfect, basically. It describes a lovely relationship between two people and it's just very happy sounding. Emilie's voice is wonderful and when she sings this song it puts me in an instant good mood. It's definately one of those songs I'll be listening to whenever I'm feeling down or just feel like a good, relaxing, peaceful song to start out the day to. I love it. :) |

this song describes perfectly what happened during the end of this summer. and what happened over my thanksgiving break. basically, I met this guy in June. He came to Iowa for not even a week with his grandfather and we were both at barnes & noble at the same time. In the music section. The Beatles to be exact. Which got us talking. Neither of us had ever met one another before so I guess it was pretty weird for us to connect so quickly. It was amazing though... I had never met someone I felt so comfortable with... especially so quickly... This sounds pretty cheesy, but I guess you would call it love at first sight. We exchanged numbers and not even an hour later I got a call from him asking me to go out to dinner with him that night. It was WONDERFUL. After dinner we went to a late movie and didn't get home 'til 1... But he came in and we watched another movie in my room and he didn't leave until 4am. I guess I really don't need to be saying all this but I'm just trying to say how strongly we felt for eachother so fast. So for the time he was here we spent every minute of every day together until he had to fly back to NC. But then two weeks later my parents agreed that I could fly down there for a week. We spent FOUR days at the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando, Florida. It was Heaven. But the entire time I was terribly sad for the week to be over. Of course that didn't stop me from being completely happy, after four days we drove back to NC and stayed at his house by the river which was beautiful. The next day we spent our last night at a Boston concert. (we both love Boston, too.) Anyway, the next morning we slept in really late and I had to fly away back to Iowa at 4pm. it was so bad... he waited at the terminal with me until the plane flew away. I tried really hard not to cry. I wasn't sure when I would see him next. But I just saw him a week ago. Which is like... almost 4 months from when I saw him the last time... But somehow we can keep this up. I have no idea how. But I do know that I love him with all my heart and I know that he loves me, too. Even though we're not together all the time... the time we do spend with eachother is complete bliss. I wouldn't trade this relationship for anything in the world. I love him so much. I love being with him. Sure I'd love to spend more time with him but I know I'll get to soon enough. :) anyway I'm gonna shut up about my sappy love life now. I LOVE this song. it's perfect. |

this reminds me of my last relationship that just ended a couple of days ago. I tried so hard to make him happy and I tried so hard to make him listen, but he just get going along like I didn't matter all that much, I know he cared, and loved me, he just didn't feel the same. I think this song is kind of like that. She tried hard to make things work and he didn't put much effort into it. So eventually all the love ends and she has nothing to be happy about. |
