| I think this is about a couple who originally had a pregnancy scare but it turned out to be nothing. They were cautious for a bit but then went back and this time the girl got pregnant. They had a good relationship before then, since he seems nostaligic about the pictures. As safe mentions, the seed thing most likely has to do with the baby and now them being a family. However, the girl does not want to have the baby and gets an abortion, and at first the guy is devastated. But he realizes he could and seems to suggest likely would make the same mistake again (step it up and sign right in again). The main thing is the "fooled by the notion the sums dont add up at all," which I think is an "it can't happen to me" attitude. All in all a great song and a great band. I'll be surprised if they don't become pretty big. Frankly I'm surprised they aren't already. | |
