| To me, this song is definitely about wasting away. When I hear this song, all I can imagine is the singer sitting in a desolate room for hours, waiting for something, anything to happen. It's like life has lost it's meaning, and all he has left is the hope that someone will tell him something different from what he's thinking. It's definitely not a love song, though. It's a song for those times when you stop and have to think about what's next, and all you come up with is a blank. I'd say that the last verse is for listeners - he's urging people to keep out of that kind of rut. | |
