I watched the video for this song a couple of days ago ( I don't remember where though:S) and it made me laugh, cause they used cencor for most of the words:P Arma goddamn motherfuckin' geddon became something like "Arma arma arma arma geddon" Didn't quite understand the video though, so I guess I'll have to watch it again:P |

I think that for a person that don't know Nghtwish, This song would be easy to make an opinion about. I also like to think that all toumas's songs vere loveletters to Tarja, but can the human race EVER get THAT lucky? I don't think so... There sure is a lot of love involved in the lyrics, but from where I see it, there wasn't any love dedicated to Tarja. About this song, I think it describes nothing but Tuomas's love to the ocean. I love the ocean oo, and for me- living on a desert island I get to see the ocean every day- 24 hours if I want to, so there is no need for me to long for the ocean. The thing about Ever Dream a the End Of An Era DVD. After 9 years of being in the same band, Tuomas know that in a few hours Tarja will be gone from his life. Thik about it- no matter how angry and tired you are, you'll allways keep a person you've known and worked with for over 9 years in your heart! I would have cried if I were him too! If I knew that I would kick out a long-time friend by the end of the show, it must be hard to NOT cry. I mean, that must be impossible! The guys had to PRETEND that everything was fine. How bad do you think they felt?? poor guys.. I hope that they, as everyone else will learn from their mistakes and NEVER do ANYTHING like it again:) Thank you! |

I love the song, but I think, like in all Nightwish songs that there is hard to really fint the meaning of the songs. At least it is to me. I love nightwish and know most of the lyrics by heart and this song can mean so much. I find live in pretty much all of the lyrics. This one is like someone mentioned about this whore or something. I think the I-person was/is a whore, she don't want to because she loves a man.. Sounds stupid? I know:P |

in the "my winter storm" cover it sais : Legend sais that when grief owerpowers happiness the northern star loses its light an falls down on earth where thee become a man. One person can help. I think that the I-person is the one to help or that "you" is the one that has been taken from her/his happiness... I dunno. just a guess from what it sais in the booklet;) |

To all you who wonders. I walk alone is not a response to Nightwish!!! in an interview the interviewer asked her if it was and she said no, it har nothing to do with them. she didn't even write the song by herself. Tarja havent spoken to any NW members since she got fired. I totally understand. I wouldn't either... |
