Swollen Members – Bring It Home Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I love Swollen! This beat is dope. I especially love Moka's part; super sickage, neat breakdown.. "If you've never heard of us, I'm sorry you ain't hip" Dope, dope, dopage. It always gets me dancing! |

Azure Ray – How You Remember Lyrics | 15 years ago |
My favorite Azure Ray song. I think it's about someone who lives a sheltered life, most likely with a family of enablers that have taken care of everything for him or her, and suddenly they are faced with a problem that they have to deal with on their own. To their suprise, they conquer the challenge or problem and realize for the first time, that they are much more brave and independent than they ever thought. |
The White Stripes – The Air Near My Fingers Lyrics | 16 years ago |
i agree with CUBErt6136 he gets nervous because she talks about how he needs to do something with his life "a boy is not a man Until he makes a stand" he doesnt like it because hes content being broke and lazy. i also think he feels nervous around his mother because he feels guilty for everything shes done for him and he feels like hes letting her down for not doing more with his life. i love this song. though im not going to hate on cluttered grace for not. we all have different opinions. even if hers doesnt make much sense seeing as this song is truly amazing. |
Cat Power – He Turns Down Lyrics | 16 years ago |
at my downfall this song was my ballad. "its not me, i was pretending" so haunting in such a subtile way. with a lost will, this song felt seemingly perfect. |
Cat Power – Colors and the Kids Lyrics | 16 years ago |
i love this song dearly. beautiful in every word. yellow hair you are a funny bear. |
Cat Power – Say Lyrics | 16 years ago |
in my eyes this song is about people losing themselves and just saying what whoever theyre talking to would want them to. exhaustion turning them mindless. and the double confessions are because they have learned to say what someone wants to hear. they play friends to whomever is there. which causes contridictions. |
The Faint – Take Me to the Hospital Lyrics | 16 years ago |
"anything worth doings worth getting hurt for" to me means if its not worth the bad that comes with it, its not worth doing. if you have a passion, the pains a small price to pay. |
The Faint – Drop Kick the Punks Lyrics | 16 years ago |
not one of my favorites as far as the faint goes. though theres just something about the way he says "what the fuck is this?" |
The Faint – Dust Lyrics | 16 years ago |
bright eyes and the faint make a truly beautiful conbination. |
The Faint – Ballad of a Paralysed Citizen Lyrics | 16 years ago |
i agree with passer-bye i think that the "elemental line" that was broken was 'no diving in shallow waters.' a basic rule of thumb (or line) that was broken. and quoting "i broke the elemental line to save a child, dive-into the shallow water" he is stating that a decision was made to desregaurd basic training and common sense to save the life of a child whos life took priority over protical. doing so proved fatal, though he had to make a decision. "i felt the hand of god" he had someones life in his hands. he was playing god in that moment. save the child he thought was drowning and pay the consequences or let him or her die. also, it is truly chilling his mentionings of the family just trying to make amends. almost as if they are trying to push what has happened under the rug. taking a kids will be kids non chelance. though he is the one that still has to live with it everyday. |
