Love this song as its really different & true 2 life!! makes u wana dance! Think he wants his gf back and she wants 2 b friends still so expects him 2 do nice things 4 her, but he is bitter & doesn't want 2 and is bitching about him! This song reminds me of reading festival 2004 the first time I went & I remember at the time listening to it @ the end of the weekend thinking about what an awesome weekend I had and there was such a great atmosphere! I think its about not worrying about things in life because everything will happen one day even if its not happening at the moment it will one day, like falling in love or just genreally finding your place in life. I think the line " wishing i could be on the last train home" represents that feeling when you want something to have happend so you know that it is out the way and done, stage in your life you have worried about. It one of those songs that makes you think that eveything will be ok in the end. |

Amazing song!! Really upbeat one of the songs that allways cheers me up! I think its about liking someone that you shouldn't, you don't want to like them but you can't stop thinking about them, their like a weakness to you and you don't like the feeling of needing them so badly. It seems asif he is talking about first love, " Whats up with my heart when it skips a beat?" the feeling you get when you see someone and they make you happy just by seeing them but if it is your first love you aren't use to feeling like that and its scary! Allthough the songs seens happy it is sad in away as the person really loves another person but can't be with them. |

This is the best song ever, its my favourite, Dave has the best voice its beautiful! I think its about a boy who has parted from someone and is deverstated, he doesn't know why it has ended this way, " Is it you God telling me to leave this place" He could have made a mistake " I am stuoid forever sad" he has to leave due to something he has done and regrets it. When Dave sings " You amaze me more than you could know" it's so emotinal the way he sings it even though they are simple lyrics, his voice sounds even better live. Its really sad as it shows how he loves someone so much but he can't be with someone. |

I think this song is about someone trying to get on in life without needing anyone they fall in love and they gives up "I just gota get myself over me" It asif they are making excuses not to be with someone but they then realise they need them. They are expecting to get hurt " Whats the point of going round" but then think they will just give it a chance. Whatever it means its an awesome song & it makes me happy whenever i here it! |

This song is so sad... The way it is sang makes it even sader. I think it is about a young girl who was used but not puposely, the boy or boys involved were just having fun and thought it was meaningless but she obviously got more involved and it ment more to her. The line "Stop a baby's breath and a shoe full of rice " could represent the dreams she had of them getting married and having babies but he shatterd these dreams. I don't think it means something as drastic as abortion or a death of a baby as I think it would have been focused on more. I think "My best friend took a week's Vacation to forget her His girl took a weeks's worth of Valium and slept " may mean that they were close to her, which is why the friends girlfriend was allso upset, maybe she was liked as a friend, which is why they feel so upset, but not romantically and her feelings were overlooked. "She was touching her face" could show that their were signs that she was upset, as people often put their head in their hands when they are upset or touch their face if they are stressed and he could be saying " I can't be held responsible" as he is trying to make himself feel better as he feels guilty for not recognising the signs.
