I just saw Bruce in a concert yesterday, and some of the songs sounded like I'd heard them for the first time. This was one of them. She's the One as a song means a lot to me. From my point of view, it's about this woman who I'm addicted to. It's no healthy addiction, and it's no love. It's the feeling when you can't escape something no matter how hard you try. You're trapped inside a feeling that controls you. It's an ugly feeling, but you're forced to see it as beautiful, otherwise it would consume you. Wonderful song. :) |
