| Eminem – Careful What You Wish For Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
"I got a letter from a fan that said he's been praying for me every day And for some reason its been weighing on my mind heavy Cause I don't read every letter I get But something told me to go ahead and open it But, why would someone pray for you when they don't know you? You didn't pray for me when I was local And I lay these vocals I think of all shit I had to go through Just to get to where I'm at I've already told you at least a thousand times in these rhymes I appreciate the prayer but I've already got god on my side" Is a response to KJ-52's "Dear Slim" in which a Christian rapper addressed Eminem in a "Stan" format. Not a diss but simply letting him now he's praying for him. |

| Wow. xD | |
| Wale – Ice and Rain Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| This is one of Wale's quite blunt tracks. I think inomusic hit the nail on the head. | |
| Lupe Fiasco – Sunshine Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
"Never met her before But I think I like her like a metaphor" As first, I figured that this was Lupe's love song. (Every rapper needs one. lmao) Bute that line made me a bit skeptic. |

| Lupe Fiasco – Failure Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I believe this is one of the songs where Lu is just throwing around crafty metaphors. If there is an underlying interpretation here, he's even better than I thought. | |
| Kid Cudi – Sky Might Fall Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Its a feel good song. Fairly typical of Cudi though he executes it perfectly. Well produced. | |

| Nas – Ether Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Simply classic. "That this Gay-Z and Cockafella records wanted beef" | |
| Kanye West – See You In My Nightmares Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Great song. Self explanatory. This is after a pretty sad break-up and well..."OK, I got you out my mind". | |
| Fall Out Boy – This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race (Remix) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
Lupe killed on this song, Kanye's was decent, Lil Wayne was OK, DIdn't really like Paul Wall or Skinhead Rob. On topic, I think Kanye explains it. "Now I don’t know what the hell this song is talkin bout Do you?" |

| Kanye West – Never Let Me Down (feat. Jay-Z & J-Ivy) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I'm pretty sure J. Ivy is actually a poet not a rapper but he has connections with some of the roc boys. Regardless, behind every line in this song there is meaning and words can't describe what it may mean to you. "If I were of the highest cliff, on the highest riff And you slipped down the side and clinched on to your life in my grip I would never, ever let you down" That line I think is the best of the song. I mean Kanye West, In my mind is the only man keeping rap alive and letting it go to the dogs(you know what I'm talking about) and Jay-Z's flow in all his songs are amazing but I think J. Ivy isn't given enough credit in this song. In my mind, one of the best Kanye West songs out there. |
