I think the part about "the man with a fist for a hand" is about how you just have to accept the way things are seomtimes.... People tend to get angry/bitter about certain things/people , but sometimes you have to give understand that peopel are like that for a reason....I think this goes along with theme of the song which is that you should try to see the "good" in everryone, which sometimes requires you to "give in"..... |

The song definately seems inspired by Conor. The guitar "solo" towards the end pays homage to the "solo" on "Contrast and Compare" (which is the song sung by Conor and Neely)..... |
