in my honest (non joking) opinion, jims singing about his little brother (or cousin) play your hand, dont play it off, dont play that game= hes tryin to play a game and his brothers not takin it serious his little brother keeps nagging at him because he was late to his first cello suite, and little kids tend to walk slower, hence "stop dragging feet" "smooth the sheets, no one was here" his mom makes him make his little brothers bed, drive by dont stop, hate wins dont stop= his little brother is riding in the car with him and really wants to stop somewhere (maybe toys r us?) guilt wont let you because you let it, because u lost=his mom always yells at him and lets his little brother get away with murder again, this is just my interpretation |
