Virago, I noticed the exact same thing and wondered if anyone else did. It seems like, in a way, they modeled that song as a response to Breaking Benjamin's Unknown Soldier. Not that it's literally meant in that context, but it just works that way.
This song is amazing, and definitely my favorite next to Shine Your Cadillac on the new album. I felt at first that the screaming at the end detracts from the flow of the song but I've grown accustomed to it and think it's an interesting addition, and definitely isn't something I'm used to hearing from them. It's too bad that Matisyn and the band split ways, they could've been one of the best rock bands of the last decade. |

I read before that this song refers to his wife's eyes. It makes sense in the Opaline references if you think of it that way. This is an amazing song. I love the serious dark bass/guitar line that breaks the middle of the song. |
