i have a strong feeling this song is about Max. "so sorry but I haev to go, wash my hands of you." "Your honesty is killing me, The page I've read, the words that said that you still love me." "The things you've said and now your dead, and that's alright by me." biggest clue is the second one, Max wrote a blog and in it it said "Ill always love Ronnie" followed by a lot of shit talk. Id say the first and third lines that I typed would be him basically saying that hes done with the friendship(its dead)and hes fine with that because he's gonna move on. |

I can agree with Hunter1986 on the Satanic meaning behind this song. I dont think anyone in Institute had the intention of making it like that, but I do see where you can interpret the meaning into some sort of Satanism. Then again..the song could be about cars for all we know :P |

In my opinion the song is about two friends, of which one is suicidal/homicidal. One has tried to kill himself/someone before-even after his friend had tried convincing him otherwise and the consequence was that many ppl were hurt by his actions. ("and it burns a hole through everyone that feels it) The guy knows his friend is troubled and will attempt to do somethin irrational again so hed rather stay with him while hes alive because he knows next time his friend might succeed in his attempts. People tell him that his friend is a problem and he shouldnt waste his time on him(i'd rather waste my time with you) at least thats what it means to me |

Definitely directed at a child, he makes it noticeable in the lyrics-youll kick in his butt,monster that eats children kick in his head dragons to ride etc. its said childish like he's singing to a child, lulling them to sleep.Its honest and loving and just all around stunning. I sing this to my baby boy all the time, and even though hes too young to really understand it gives me a feeling of confidence, 'the mightiest scariest creature is you' I want him to believe he's safe and this song accomplishes that. | |
