i love this song but there're a couple of things that bother me about it. and as i close my eyes and the sky turns red after red i wish the next line would've rhymed.. i know it would compromise the subject of the song but i dunno i'd just like it way more if it flowed in terms of rhyme in that instance. its an excellent but it has potential to be absolutely phenomenal |

major's titling victory. yeah whoever said the thing about major labels having too much power is spot on. but i think they arent speaking about themselves because they're on an indie label i'm pretty sure. they are spekaing about major label bands who've no time for themselves as these major labels exercise great power (titling victory, meaning they will always succeed in labelling something- in other words they run everything and call all the shots). yeah. seeing them live in a few hours. cant wait. @ the billboard, melb, vic. |

i agree with the unrequited love. this girl he's in love with keeps 'leading' him on, just playing around with his emotions. he wakes up alone because he has his mind focused on this one girl he doesn't want to fool around with other girls. in the end he becomes used to the 'rain' that is feeling shitty, he felt no more 'danger' where 'there were no strangers' because he's lived through it. when he says he's sinking he feels the needs i think he means that when he's severely depressed he can't help but still love this girl who's toying with his emotion. i think this songs about sell outs.. 'where angels fly you dont play' - shame of disloyalty to image the hall of fame lyrics suggests that oasis have stuck to their true beliefs and have never compromised their image and this hall of fame is their distinction. 'around this town you ceased to be... That's what you got for sleeping with the enemy' - sell outs forgotten possibly ... sleeping with the enemy being disloyal? it could be about rumours... but there is evidence to suggest its about sellouts |
