this song is about a loss of love. its the true essence of raw pain with music to follow. its about how he wants so badly to fix things, write her a letter and make her love him again but he doesnt know how and all he wants is for her to stop ignoring him["im dying in this silence"]and give him a second chance--"let go". i first heard this song after a similar situation and it really hit home. the entire first verse is so full of wanting its almost touchable. "cut the skin to the bone..." may be metaphorical or real but either way it gets the point across--he's being torn apart. LONG LIVE BLINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! {if only in our hearts} ...we should write them a letter asking them to get back together... |
