this song is beautifully written, and obviously about gay marriage. "Now we look up in, into the eyes of bullies breaking backs. They seem so very tough, they seem so very scared of us" people who are against gay marriage ARE afraid. "I look into the mirror for evil that just does not exist, I don't see what they see" everyone else is baffled because theres no reason to be frightened by gay marriage, theres nothing evil about it. marriage is bonding two people who love each other for life. its a basic human right. "Try to control the pull of one magnet to another" they're trying to say that two people cannot be together by law because it is against a religious view. does anyone think that this is unconstitutional? isnt basing a state law on a religious belief interfere with the wall dividing church and state? yeah. |

I love this song. i love the irony. "Swat us away like flies As we follow the light" ha. her name is Lights. its probably not on purpose or anything, i just thought it was cool. anyhow, this song is simply amazing. i love the duet that shows both sides of the story and how they both feel the same way, but differently at the same time. he tells about how they first met, she vents about the promises he never kept. they both know that the other person has a barrier that wont come down and even though she couldnt be the one to break through, and same for him, they still want to be remembered. |
