If it is infact the same girl that he's with in the end, then maybe he's talking to the new tennants in the apartment, it never says he's talking to a girl, he could simply be talking to the new people living there, which is why he says "they" and "you" for all those parts but then says "her" when he talks about the girl. |

Does anyone notice that the comment box says "What does this song mean to you?". songs mean something different to everyone, and the fact that everyone takes the meanings differently is the whole art of song interpreting.

It's not at all what I would usually listen to, but I can relate to it so much that I just have to love this song. There's one thing I want to bring up though, in the end where it goes, "where's Scotty when you need him?" is that referring to the song "Scotty Doesn't Know" as in he can relate to how Scotty feels in that song? Just a thought... |
