| Bright Eyes – Lover I Don't Have to Love Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
I love this song so much. It really sounds like a dark and lonely late night too, really evokes a certain mood. Well, I can only associate my own feelings with these lyrics. I have a friend that I'm in love with but I cannot be with her. So when I go out at night and get drunk I don't know what else to do but make out with random strangers. Of course I'd rather be with her but it's easier to give yourself to people you don't care about. In the end they can't hurt you. Really sad and something most people can understand I think. |

| This song is TOO much like my damn life. I feel like TI is talking about someone who makes you feel both totally amazing and totally f-ed up at the same time. You wanna leave but you don't... | |

To me this seems to be about a young girl who falls in love with an older man. Probably he is already married or involved with someone else. They have a relationship, but it cannot be. So freaking heartbreaking... |

| Black Kids – I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How to Dance with You Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I think this song is so cute! I imagine a chick who's in love with her friend (also a chick, obviously). She knows her friend's loser BF can't ever compare to her, and it sucks even worse her friend wants her to teach loser some dance moves! AH! Straight girls. Clueless. |

| I think it's about a friend who's going through some tough sh*t but won't talk about it with anyone. The singer here is telling her friend to please let go and share. Been there! | |
| Fleetwood Mac – Sisters of the Moon Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I can't say for sure...but watching Stevie perform this song drugged out of her mind makes me think this is about drug addiction. This "sister of the moon" in the dark robes is cocaine (Stevie's drug of choice). The drug calls to her and Stevie cannot break free. "Illusions are her game," "so we make our choices when there is no choice..." Yeah, I'd almost bet money on this being about drugs. |
