| Soundgarden – Black Hole Sun Lyrics | 15 years ago |

"In my eyes, indisposed In disguises no one knows Hides the face, lies the snake The sun in my disgrace" -he speaks of one of the races of the many multidimensional beings on earth at the moment that have been called reptilian by some conspiracy theorists. tend to be our rulers "Boiling heat, summer stench 'Neath the black the sky looks dead" we as beings are experiencing a 4th dimension transition. this paints a picture of how the 3d might look. when things begin vibrating into other dimensional space they appear to vanish. "Call my name through the cream And I'll hear you scream again" called through a portal "Black hole sun Won't you come And wash away the rain? Black hole sun Won't you come? Won't you come?" how I take it there is a 4d black sun, or black hole sun that has now come and it's proximity is raising our vibrations and accelerating conciousness. "Stuttering, cold and damp Steal the warm wind tired friend Times are gone for honest men And sometimes far too long for snakes" there is something in the blood. the lizard bloodline is far. they have been working a long time. think moses-akenhaten "In my shoes, a walking sleep" when you are awake in 3d, you are really just asleep in other dimensions. this wall is breaking. "And my youth I pray to keep" he's saying he hopes to stay innocent. things pure are always ready to be used to create something new on. think paper. "Heaven send Hell away No one sings like you anymore" this dimensional shift of oneness will remind us of who we are and love will consume all in the place of the fear which has far too long. therefore balancing karmic debt and. ascension. no cleansing in hell is longer necessary. "Hang my head, drown my fear Till you all just disappear" drowning fear. ELIMINATE FEAR SO YOU CAN DISAPPEAR, VIBRATE AT HIGHER FREQUENCY, THINK 'RAPTURE' BUT FAR FAR GREATER Namaste In Lak Ech |

I don't know about you guys, but the first time I heard this song I felt like the meaning was more along the lines of trying too hard to impress some chick. "correct each stutter, every slur" and she can't take a hint so he's stuck saying "hey! recognize me! be with me!" maybe i'm stupid, but that's where I feel like adam's coming from. |

To me, this song is about her striving for musical success. it's stupid, but no matter where you go, in the black community there will always be a few misfits in the crowd who decide to break the mold, and for this they aren't respected as much. "I can say I hope it will be worth what I give up If I could stand up mean for all the things that I believe" she gives up her respect for everything she holds true. "I left my home to disappear is all I'm here for myself" she's left the lower east side because she didn't feel she needed to be there anymore; it was her decision, and no one elses. and finally, "Change, change, change, I want to get up out of my skin tell you what if I can shake it I'm 'a make this something worth dreaming of" she demands change. change in musical standards and the opinions of her earlier day peers. she'd like the view of the Modern Black artist to change from the standard hip hop to whatever the person decides. she wants to make her music and the career of creating music open to whoever wants to try. she is disvaluing herself by doing this, of course, but she'd want it. so do i, i suppose. maybe i just saw this and related it to my own life, i dunno. i'm mixed, i've always gotten picked on for that, but when you listen to a different genre of music than everyone else, and wear all the different clothes and even speak diferent than your neighbors do, it's easy to become disliked, but it doesn't matter, by that time you've realized that not letting it get to you, you're a better person. but in the back of your head, you want to prove to them that you're better, and make them wish that they'd never treated you the way they did, and you separate your wolrd from theirs. "to tell it straight, I'm tryin to build a wall Walking by myself down avenues that reek of time to kill If you see me keep going be a pass by waver Build me up, bring me down just leave me out you name dropper Stop tryin to catch my eye I see you good you forced faker Just make it easy You're my enemy you fast talker" |

i don't really know. i absolutely love this song. but i think that this song is about doing whatever it takes to be happy. i feel like he's comunicating throughout the song that doing whatever it takes is fine, right until the end "My horse has won; my own son. ‘Well sir, well done. I hope you had fun." i felt like that meant none of what we feel is true, that nothing that we'll ever do will truly be fine with everyone including ourselves, that not everyone can rejoice for the same thing. |
