i dont think this songs about death i thought that at glastonbury he said 'this ones for dev' cos dev hynes (lightspeed champion) came out and started playing acoustic guitar with them... im pretty sure its not about death, but i cud be wrong! |

reading the first verse i thought it was about signing with a record company but when i continued reading it sounded like it could very well be about drugs.maybe its about how when you become famous its easier to fall into taking drugs and more tempting. -your fair weather friends... here its saying temptation to get high like your friends -i was a loner... Seemed all his friends or maybe other stars were getting high, gives in to temptation -right beneath your nose... Sniffing coke -white smoke,white light... smoking drugs also WHITE gives a clue maybe taking more cocaine -you convince yourself that you want it but you dont know... you thought you wanted to take drugs cos your friends were and realising you only did it to 'fit in' -washing blood from your hands... regrets it but cant escape addiction -the handshake... addiction(like a sealed deal) and also a pill (under our tongue) |
