"When we decline, From the confines of our mind," and "Don't you see their bodies burning?" are supporting my last idea, they are "declining the idea about any bad parts of the war exist and leaving in the confines of thier mind. and "Don't you see their bodies burning?" is telling everyone to take a look and see whats really going on. |

also when he says " i want you to see behind those empty walls" i think that he trying to talk to the american people or anyone who likes the war to look past their empty walls ( their ideas that the war is good, all our troops will be safe and were doing everything neccacary and possible to get the war to end soon, basicily being blinded by thier own ignorace) and to see that there are alot of problems with this war and people need to stop lying to them selfs and saying everything is ok and ignoring the truth . ill probly post more in like 10 minutes hahah |

i think empty walls is a metaphor for the war and how we will gain nothing from it ( like buying an empty bottle of something) . "Pretentious adventures, Dismissive apprehension," i think someone already quoted this but yeah its a big clue as to what its about also i love the video cuz i think it has its own added meaning the idea that as we are having this war kids/ young people are geting killed weather they belive in it or not. and the way he shows how the kids are acting like soilders killing off people in iraq( or iran i dont know were we are anymore) and one part were these two girls are trying to get the soilders to stop from killing what are probly inocennt people that happen to be in the wrong place wrong time, its just a great song |

hey to anyone reading the begging of the comments take note that origannly the person who posted this put up the lyrics and fixed them a little while after.probly like a week or two after the last comment that says it doesnt match up. either way i reread the lyrics to the song and i cant say exactly what they are directing the song to i just know how they feel abuot it ( translation) i know what they feel a certain group i just dont know who but they are big ( govt. religion, etc) either way im going to try and break down the lyrics that i can as best as i can "I did my time, and I want out So abusive, FATE It doesn't cut, the soul is not so vibrant" -the first line is ovious, and then he goes on to say that what "they" are doing or saying that we know the truth in our souls weither it be that they are lying or doing something worng "The reckoning, the sickening Back at you, subversion Pseudo-sacred pyscho virgin" - i beilive these lines are summerizing what they have dont, reckoning(idk?) the sickening and subversion(correution) they have done." Pseudo-sacred pyscho virgin" i beileve means there faking to be something good but really not. "Go tell your classes Go dig you grave Then fill your mouth with all the money you have saved Sinking in getting smaller again. I'm done! It has begun, I'm not the only one!" i think its saying something like " go tell all the people what your have been doing , you dug your owns grave, is it worth all the money you saved?" then its saying " you knw its wrong but you just ignore it and it gets smaller in your mind" then ofcourse "he and everyone is done with it , there now gonna do something about it " so to speak. "And the rain will kill us all. Throw ourselves against the wall. But no one else can see. The preservation of the martyr in me." now back when i said they group was big that they were talking about i think the first line is saying that the rain ( being their power and influence and evil ) is everywhere and will one day kill us all. then i got ( not sure) either (2nd line) either to kill ourselfs or that we do anything we can to survive. then no one can see that ME( all of us) will do anything to fix the problem ( hence martyr). sorry im tired and got hw and college crap to look at so imma finish this in like 3 hours ( or after a good nap) if anyone thinks im wrong please back it up with parts of the lyrics and not just guesses that come from nothing. |

-um not sure about it becuz i just heard the song. but i think its about religion. -kinda sounds like he "did his time " trying to follow the faith and he sees how many problems their are and now he wants the religion to "say im wrong " becuz he knows that "there are cracks" and then i think he is talking about fixing the problem by starting a new religion of sorts. -Psychosocial is "the psychological and/or social aspects of health, disease, treatment, and/or rehabilitation" -so i guess they say that word becuz they wanna " rehabilitate" the society keep in mind i just heard this song today so im probly waaay waay off. |
