i held you like a lover happy hands and your elbow in the appropriate place -this part is beautiful, its a painting of their bodys together, perfect, cuddling and fitting together like puzzle pieces, perfect our bodies moved and hardened hurting parts of your garden with no room for a pardon in a place where no one knows what we have done -this part is about them having sex obviously, its like in his song delicate, where its a private matter, done in a room that has become a removed dimension of the universe do you come together ever with him? -the next set of lyrics he is questioning her to make sure that this is the man she really wants to be with, is he the man who makes you absolutely crazy? or is he not as good as damnien rice you held me like a lover sweaty hands and my foot in the appropriate place -this line is my favorite line in the song, its such an amazing feeling when your entire body is alligned to someone else, from the top of your head to your perfectly alligned feet we used cushions to cover happy glands and the mild issue of our disgrace -hes making her as comfortable as an irish princess our minds pressed and guarded while our flesh disregarded the lack of space for the light-hearted in the boom that beats our drum -they are almost strangers becuse they are both afraid to let each other in, their minds are guarded, they are trying to play these cards right, not say to much to early, boom is refering to their hearts pounding and i know i make you cry i know sometimes you wanna die but do you really feel alive without me? -LOVE HURTS if not leave him for me before one of us has accidental babies -i think this line is great, once you get someone pregnant, theres no turing back, they only way they could ever really be seperated would be if they have a child with another lover, then their love would be seemingly difficult and maybe impossible i can just see damien rice giggling as he wrote that line about accidental babbies, it seems so rediuclous, just the words within themself, but it is so true |

| this song totally relates to my life, jsut the opening lines, a 'heart so big' is like my heart bcause i fall so hard for people, and it 'hurts like hell' when it never works out. And i just moved to a new town this year where nobody knew me and ive gone from friend to friend and people have given me crap about it, but its like 'you know me, or you think you do' and none of them really knew me at all. Then the part about all you really need are a few good friends, is so true becasue i found those friends and when you find them going out dosnt matter anymroe 'the nightlife is just not for me'. And another thing about makign lists of who you need, i do it all the time, im like .. ok ... make a list of people who care about you, then i do and it always has more people than the ones that truly care.
