What i think it's about is Commercialism, and the fact that people are more connected to possessions now than poeple were to religion and God in the past. I'm pretty sure the part "Now there's bloodshed in my hometown, There were kids shot down" is about the Dawson college shooting in 2006, in Sam Robert's home town of Montreal. |
