this song it about a lot of different things, 1st i seen in a interview that the part that says "Teenage angst has paid off well. Now I'm bored and old." was how he thought that grunge was dead. then the part that says "Serve the servants" i would say was about sub pop then serve the servants" the the part "As my bones grew, they did hurt. They hurt really bad." was were kurt cobain had a disease called Skullyosis. and not the last part that says "I tried hard to have a father,

i think it sounds like a girl he could have had a relationship with but when i 1st herd it i thought it might have been about his dead friend/guitarist Kurt Cobain but it sound more like it was about kurt morn then a girl but its a kick ass song i like how it just starts all slow and then it just kicks it up to hard rock |

i think this is a song about suicide but how could Cortney kill him? she was in rehab when he was and he escaped the rehab he was in,then he went got a gun and killed himself. kurt already tried to do it once with pills and he failed. |
