First off AMAZING song...and I have to agree with you all this song does sound an awful lot like the beatles... but anyways... Those who are dead are not dead They’re just living my head And since I fell for that spell I am living there as well To me these lines are explaining how everyone close to the person who has died are now living in his head...and since he constantly replays these persons memories that he lives there as well... Time is so short and I’m sure There must be something more This line explains that our lives here on earth are very short and that there must be life after death... You thought you might be a ghost You thought you might be a ghost You didn’t get to heaven but you made it close You didn’t get to heaven but you made it close Explaining how someone might have tried there whole life to be a great person and expected to get into heaven but is living in some state in between heaven and hell... Love the song...and everyones interpretations are amazing... |

| amazing song I interpret as happy! Like no matter what happens God loves me and gave me style and grace and even tho I may be unrighteous he saved me! Loose tongue we all have our oppinions on way this song means...but u don't have to tell everyone that they are pea brained just because they interpret this song differently haha | |

| I interpret this song as one person expressing how they faltered and got lost...but in the end they learned their lesson and came out alright...completely reminds me of my life! Amazing song! | |
