Plain and simple.. The last line of the song goes " Welcome back Hip Hop i saved your life" Lil Wayne is the "Doctor" and "Hip Hop" is the patient"..Lil Wayne saved Hip Hop from rappers such as 50 Cent who just rap about MONEY and their whips and 'bitches' and guns and have no unique style what so ever.. where you take someone like Lil Wayne or Lupe Fiasco , both with their own different yet unique ways of rapping. Lil Wayne didnt save hip hop, but hes keeping it somewhat alive. |
