this song has got to be about getting high. and the only reason i came up with that is because... 1. john said that a lot of their songs aren't really what they appear to be. 2. fade = faded: meaning, high or drunk(sometimes) it's not hard to interpret. the chorus is a perfect example of what i'm trying to get across. you don't have to agree with me, it's just the way i see it. to me, it makes more sense when i look at the lyrics in that aspect. it's not about love, this is about being a teenager and his friends getting fucked up. and for some odd reason, this makes me love this song so much more. even if i'm wrong about the meaning, i'm interpreting it that way because it just makes better sense in my world. |
