My first post! I love this song, reminds me of my ex too. I think it is about not wanting to let go of your partner, with the lyricist willing to try anything to keep her. I think they have broken up and he is reminiscing about the good times "remember how it used to be", yet at the same time he wants her back, "don't say there's nothing, we can make this happen". I think the train reference is him either feeling suicidal, or remembering walking that way with his ex. By the way it says: "Drawn towards a moonlit sky" & also "It's all I want for all the pain" not swallow etc. & the last bit goes "all we say, we say etc." not sane. My new fave song given it's how I am feeling too :-( |
