Dreamin' is an excellent song. A clear masterpiece. I would still like to hear 'This is the Way' though... To me, this song is about not wanting to grow up or take on the responsibilities that come with life. The character that this song describes just wants to dream all day long, and no t have to take on any responsibilities. This is evident through the whole song. During the chorus of the first part of the song, he describes what people are telling him. How he needs to do good in school, and pay some bills so he can make it in life. But all he wants to do is sit around and relax. |
