| Emilie Autumn – Gothic Lolita Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| This song might be more simple than people say. I think the song is about the idea that people have these days about some rape victims. People tend to assume it's the victim's fault for being raped if she was wearing something revealing ("But ruffles and laces and candy sweet faces directed your furtive hand I completely understand so it's my fault") or even walking by herself at night. While it is unwise to walk by yourself at night in a sketchy area, I still think it is wrong to blame the victim. You can't justify the illegal actions of one person by blaming it on the perfectly legal actions of another. | |
| Electrocute – Nobody likes us Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I love this song. It reminds me of the movie Ghost world. | |
| The White Stripes – Blue Orchid Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| oh, wait. you mentioned the blue ball part already. Oh, well. When they mentioned what "orchis" meant in the movie "Adaptation", I instantly thought of this song. It made me laugh! | |
| The White Stripes – Blue Orchid Lyrics | 17 years ago |

alot of comments are saying it's about the girl losing her virginity, but I think it's Jack who did for 2 reasons: 1.If you look up orchids on wikipedia, it will say that the orchid family comes from the genus type "Orchis" which is also the Greek term for "testicle"(It says that in the movie "Adaptation" as well). So, if she "took a white orchid and turned it blue", she gave him blue balls! 2.he says "you were given a flower" and the flower can represent virginity as many people have said. This means that he gave her his virginity. |

| Björk – Possibly Maybe Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I agree with DoveLuv, but the song is about Stéphane Sednaoui, one of Bjork's old boyfriends who is a director/photographer. He even directed the music video for this song as well | |
| No Doubt – Magic's in the Makeup Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
To me, the song is about one of those shallow girly girls. This one, however, finds the people whom she hangs out with to be bland ("The ones I loath are the one's that know me the best"). On the inside, she has a strange personality and she'd rather be thought of as a normal, popular girl ("There's more then one dimension", "Can you tell I'm faking it?", "Camouflage my nature", "No courage to show my true colors that exist"). If she meets anyone she truly wants to know, her hidden personality might show ("If you bore me then I'm comfortable If you interest me I'm scared"). Eventually, she wants to face her fears and show everyone who she really is ("But the magic's in the makeup And I want to be the real thing My makeup's all off Who am I?" |

| Emilie Autumn – 306 Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| When I first watched the movie Se7en, I noticed that the apartment door they kicked open was numbered as 306, but that's probably just a stupid coincidence. | |
| Emilie Autumn – The Art of Suicide Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
It's "pretty and clean", not "gritty and clean". The song is mainly about how suicide has been glamorized and society's view of it is a euphemism. When the word suicide comes to mind, we don't always think of the body's decompostion, or who the person really was. The song is completely sarcastic, especially with the lines- "The world is full of poets We don't need any more The world is full of singers We don't need any more The world is full of lovers We don't need any more" This is sarcastic, because Emilie Autumn herself is probably all three of those types of people. |

| Emilie Autumn – I Want My Innocence Back Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I think I agree with lovelybones513. Something like that happened to me about two years ago. Imagine that the person you have trusted your whole life made you a cake. You enjoyed this cake, but after you had finished, someone told you that the person rubbed his/her ass in the cake while you weren't looking. Back to the song, I also find the lyrics to be ironic because once you lose innocence, you can get it back. |
