| i don't think this song is literally about kidnapping...i think it means that he missed this girl and wants to bring her back to where he's happy, and he knows she'll be happy too. california has always been andrew's home, so i think that's what he's speaking of. he wants to take this girl that he loves home...and it definitely is "you'll be missed, miss california." | |

am i the only one who thinks this song is more sentimental than sexual?? if i am it's cool, i usually am. and i'm usually wrong. Personally, I agree with the two prior analyses mainly. The girl broke up with the boy and he's trying to get over her, and finally when he's just made it over the hump of the hardest part, she comes over and asks for just one more night with him, something he's been "longing" for for a long time. When the situation presents itself, it's not really about the sex, it's about that he's still in love with her. The mutiny, the traitor, is his heart. Or it could just be that he's a horny boy. Whatevs. |
