'Cage the Elephant' and 'Flobots' are very similar bands, in my opinion. They both portray political thoughts and views in their songs, but they hide them behind cleverly placed words and beats, making it fun to listen to, partially informative, and they really make you think when you get into the lyrics. If you don't listen to Flobots, you should really check them out, they're amazing. |

I don't know if anyone has thought of this yet, but maybe Dan and Lisa ARE referring to LSD and childhood friends at the same time. Dan and Lisa could refer to LSD, and maybe by saying they were his "Childhood friends whom he hasn't seen in 10 years" he meant he hasn't done LSD in 10 years, and he's explaining it? That's how I interpret the song, anyways =/ Input please? |

I always thought that the 'Smell the ass of my jeans clean they'll do another day' part said 'Smell the ass of my jeans, Clean the Doo another day' instead... Correct me if I'm wrong though, that's just what it sounds like to me. |
