| Hercules killed the centaur with a poison arrow to save Deianara. Then the centaur convinced her that the blood could be used as a love potion. So when she was worried about losing him to another women she put some of the blood (which was poisoned by Hercules own arrow) on his shirt. The poisoned shirt burned through his skin and he was unable to take the pain so he eventually killed himself in a pyre. | |
