very introspective lyrics. the lines On a highway I know they aren't moving They move by conversation I pretend to know what they say really adds a couple more dimensions to the song. it isn't about cars on a highway; where you are, where you're going doesn't matter. what matters is your mind and the way you relate yourself. avey welcomes subjectivity and gets to know the people who pass him by inventing them himself, allowing us to peer into his creative process. great song, great ep. |
