this entire song is incredible on its own, yes. but eminem's injection of wit into some parts was what REALLY got my attention. ' now you get to watch her leave out the window, guess thats why they call it window "pane" ' his composition with volume, tone, words and how they flow together truly truly is remarkable. so much respect for this man. |

it was this song, that brought me back with my ex-lover. 'what you would do if you were the one who was spending the night?' NO i did not sleep with the guy lol but he did spend the night in my house because he lived a bit far away from me and he needed a place to stay for that particular night. this guy had feelings for me, and it was hard because... i tried my best to pay attention to him as we spoke but all i could think about was my ex. well, lets just say i've found the one :) |

i've heard the stripped version. and it reminded me of my close friend who's mom just passed away of lung cancer a near fortnight ago. 'waiting on a cure' was like, waiting for something to take the pain away. it also reminded me of myself a few months back coz my dad passed in January this year. i know i'll never find a cure but i know in a little bit longer, she'll be fine just like me. |

i'm still downloading the song and haven't heard it yet and the lyrics of the song make me much more eager to listen to it. the first verse really reflects myself, as a person. i turn sixteen in a month or two and my dad passed just six months ago. almost in the same way, as the lyrics are. |

just probably... one of the most beautiful ballad's i've ever heard. i like that the lyrics are simple yet really meaningful. Nick's squeaky hasn't-properly-broke-yet voice. Kev's guitar at 'i can hold my head up high'. how the song starts with simple guitar strums and then the drumbeat enters. this song CAN ALSO be about God. 'when you look me in the eyes' can be sort of like... God looking down right at us. especially, 'you're the light that makes my darkness disappear'. |

Tina reminds me of me. okay so i do not have cancer, but i often feel the way she feels. 'one day, you'll have to let it go.' 'one day, you'll stand up on your own.' these two hit me hard. and then i understand that internal and personal struggles happen to everyone in life. its about how the person works around it and moves on, maturing from it and using it as a story to share with other people, like how Raine writes it out as a song for others to listen to. i definitely remember all the feelings and the day they stopped :) |
