Queen – God Save the Queen Lyrics 17 years ago
If they had the idea from Hendrix, then they would have probably placed it on a previous album. It works very well with the storyline of 'A Night at the Opera'.

Queen – Bohemian Rhapsody Lyrics 17 years ago
'A Night at the Opera' was designed to be listened to straight through and this does lead into 'God Save the Queen' and that was what his old band mates called him. I like a lot of the opinions regarding his inner struggle and how/why he decided to express it in this manner. As with many Queen songs up until Freddie's death, you'll see a lot of continuation within the lyrics as with this album that adds another layer to the Queen landscape.

Queen – Love Of My Life Lyrics 17 years ago
Written for his longtime friend Mary Austin, Freddie shows another point of struggle in this album. I might be wrong (don't think I am, however) but this was around the time that Mary figured everything out with Freddie's orientation being bisexual and that he was choosing inside himself to choose either one way or another - for his best friend's sake. Note: that contention is recorded within another song near the end of the album. ;)

When you laugh at the madman, he's then either invades you or bombs the heck out of you.

Queen – Seaside Rendezvous Lyrics 17 years ago
For myself, this entire album has a great operatic storyline placed into it and this song itself has the feel of being attached to '39 as a sequel of sorts. The punchy, happiness point of views are points reminiscent from the past as well as the french, Mediterranean as well as how in wartime the seasons become cyclical (...Can we do it again sometime?..)
