oops, pardon me i was just looking at the first page and basically just replying to h mozart, who sounds too ignorant to understand that even though the lyrics are simple and pointless sounding, still mean a LOT to the story. and sorry carrden but i can think of many fulfilling things besides jesus... like bmx... most likely because im not religious |

ok, some of you guys are starting to be ridiculous with this. this song is meant to fit in with the other songs in the album first of all, thats why it sounds really rock and roll compared to other songs on the album. the main charachter in the story has just left living with his over protective mother and is completely "spoiling" himself with basically sex, drugs, and rock and roll. the song was meant to sound kinda like rock songs of the era to emphasise the time in his life. not my favorite song but i had to set some things straight. for everyone who hasnt seen the movie, just do it. youll hopefully understand things better. pink floyd is amazing and it really hurts to hear some people say "What a great song about being an little shit on tour through the big mean world...rocknroll refugee?? tsk...
Waters was such a moron, his lyrics suck so hard on selfpity and if people stopped confusing complicated music technique with a good song, none'd confuse Pink Floyd shit with art.
