| Actually the people who really want to get answers shouldn't read the Bible because it really won't make sense. They should simply go to church instead, I guess it just comes naturally. I just thought that to be peculiar that they wrote those kind of lyrics...maybe it means something else. | |

Lefabian, you're ignorant. I hate how this song is on Guitar Hero and all of a sudden everyone's like OMG I LOVE THIS SONG without knowing the true meaning, ha |

Saw them play this song last night, they did a great job. The show was completely sold out. As for the song itself, I get the feeling that it means that it doesn't matter what possessions you have or where you stand in society, the only thing that matters is if we've got faith in Jesus Christ or not. "Take all your medals, take all your ribbons, Take all your awards, take them back to the ground" Those lines pretty much say it all, you might as well throw all your possessions to the ground because they mean nothing to Jesus. |

That's a good way to put it, I think that may be what the title means. All I know is that a few minutes ago I was very sad thinking about my ex and how we're never getting back together for numerous reasons (actually, I think he's lost his way in Christ, what a shame for him), but I decided to listen to AKFJ because they always cheer me up. This song makes me realize that God takes certain things from us for a reason. He has a plan for us all though it may not seem very clear at first. I know that everything will be okay. My ex was actually in our church's band, but not anymore. I wish they'd play this cover too. |

| About the title, Wikipedia says it's a reference to Dale Earnhardt. I didn't know TDWP watched NASCAR... | |

I just read mikeskatesnj's interpretation and the relation of this song to a short story (which I actually took the time to read just now) and I agree with every word he's put down. I think it's just because the majority of the world is just a copy of itself, and the few individuals out there who actually take time to analyze the world, they're getting overtaken by the fake MySpace scene kids and such. It's difficult being an individual and doing something different, especially in my town because it's so judgemental. I just got back from a church camp and I was willing to share what I've learned in faith, but no one was willing to listen. They told me otherwise. They said "It mustn't have been God you were connected to, it's just the people you were with." It just comes to show how people are so unacceptable of new concepts these days. I used to be a little scenie weenie, but I got out of it because I realized that I wasn't making a statement at all. It's sad. And just like TDWP says, I'm going to hope for them and I'm going to pray for them. It's the only thing left to do. |

I think the song's got to do with strength in society and life hence "I ain't a fool; I've got my doubts" which probably means he isn't easily influenced by the things going on. He's got his doubts in this too-good-to-be-true world of advertisement. It also shows a softer side which represents vulnerability: "It's hard to breathe when you're standing on your own" Everyone's got to have a weak point. That's why we've got friends. |

| Akissforjersey – Without Regret Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Yes this song is totally about Jesus dying for our sins without regret. Through all the pain and suffering He endured, He did it because He loved us and wanted us all to be saved. I love AKFJ's lyrics. Saw them live the other night and they were fantastic. Zach is also a really nice guy. | |

Kyleee I agree with what you said & I also believe the title is in Latin since lots of things relating to Jesus were in Latin. I tried looking up what the words meant and it goes something like this: 'Salus' means safety, health, salvation 'Suas' means persuasion 'Extanderealas' means from within 'Concedit' means allow or grant Very interesting. |
