| Your Vegas – Up Until The Lights Go Out Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I think the song is about a guy who goes a sleezy club and sees a stripper that he was once involved with, and he's thinking back and say to her 'you're better than this' and this harsh reality is just keeping him there. | |
| Avenged Sevenfold – Afterlife Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I think the song is about a guy, who's dieing, (I say dieING, because the line 'just giving you a small taste' leads me to believe he's not dead, maybe in a comma) and he's like Heaven would be great and all, but I really don't want to die, so can you just have me not die, see, my family is already greiving. | |
| Foo Fighters – Monkey Wrench Lyrics | 17 years ago |

Firstly, I always thought by monkey wrench it meant the expression throwing a wrench into the plan, which means complicating everything. I think the song is about the fact that he meets a girl who's life is fine, and then they 'fall in love' and it complicates everything, so he decides to leave her for her own good. or If you want to think totally out there it could be that its told in the point of view of an unborn baby directed to it's mother, the baby is an unplanned bastard (one more indecent accident) and its saying 'abort me now, I don't want to mess up your life and mine' (I'd rather leave than suffer this). But I don't think it's about an abortion. |

| Soundgarden – Spoonman Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Okay, I have a question. I don't know if there's just something up with the version of this song I downloaded or it's just not in the lyrics. But when it's doing the spoon playing solo, he's singing something that sound like "come on while I get up" or some thing, my brother thhinks it's "cum on while I get off". can someone tell me what it's really saying? Thanks. | |

this song is like a couple of A7X songs, it's saying war sucks, and the concept of killing people to prove a point is stupid. but it's inevitable, so keep a level head and wait it out. War is like chicken poxs, annoying as anything, but if you scratch it you're just gonna make it bleed. |

| Three Days Grace – Home Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I think the purpouse of this song, like most Three Days Grace songs, is ment to be an athem of sorts for all the kids with effed up home lives. a house is just a stucture that keeps it from raining on you, but a home is somewhere where you feel wanted and safe. It's saying since he feels no love and acceptance the house is not a home. I'm reading the other comments people write and there's so many people saying 'I can totally relate to this song', it just hurts my heart, I come from a functional family and it's unimaginable for me to picture this song summing up someones everyday existance. It's a powerful song. |

| Nine Inch Nails – The Hand That Feeds Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I personally think it's saying that you (as in the person who he's singing it to) spend your whole life doing what your told. "you're keeping in step, in the line". And you become almost robotic and your soul in a way dies "but inside your heart it is black and it's hollow and it's cold". The song is daring you to break free, don't worry what the consequences "can you get up off your knees? are you brave enough to see?". Basically, be yourself, or you'll lose yourself. |
