I belive this song is about one person, and it starts simple (Riding a bike without handlebars) then gets more and more complex. untill the end when the person is the leader of the world almost and do whatever it wants. Then once he gets to the top, and loves it, and belives he is doign everything right, even if what he is doing is worng. This could be simple as releting to one person (G Bush, You or me in a sense) or more then peaple (the USA in general) Overall this song Kicks Ass. |

I had always hread this was about the lead singers mother. She died, and that was her last message and he kept it to rember her. And now he is singing that even though he did all the shit, she was still there helping him, even if he didn't belive he desservied it. Oasis is AMAZING, but the beatles are Classic. No way to bet them. Anyway this song is pretty self-expentory, but from what I read, like most songs, it means alot of differnt things to differnt peaple. Old school days, friends, boyfriends, summer flings ect ect. Anway to me, it's about a guy i really really really like for like three years and he doesn't feel the same. -Were like best friends- and we went out in middle school, I broke up with him and I've regreated it every day since ^_^ |

| It's one of those songs that really have no upfront meaning. It means somthing different to everyone else. Everyone can relete to it becuase it gives you that feeling. I know my friend just likes the lryics, and I'm in love with the song becuase it reminds me of a guy that i'm in head-over-heals in love with, who dosn't feel the same. Does that mean it is what the song is about? Probally not, but that is what it reminds ME of. | |

| I don’t really like NOFX. But this song is uber-amazing. =) I like how it says that every song on the radio is pretty much the same. Which is true. Not listening to the radio for about two months, I listened it to the other day, and I heard the same songs…just different people. -_-. I also like the whole anti-FCC theme. | |

| Hmmm after listening to this song over and over for like a month, I’ve come to an understanding I think this song is about how everyone goes around saying we have the best country ever and it’s so anti-religious( well, in the government sense) but we really have a religious state, and there are many flaws. But we are still trying to have everyone be just like us. The first verse , brings me to this, because, we Americans believe we are the best in the world (or it appears that is how we think) and we don’t need to be part of the world as a whole. But we have the ‘American Jesus’ who will help us though it. Who the American Jesus is, I’m thinking is the people in general or the President. Second verse is how, we think we are so amazing, and we can have people visit our country, and we want them to. But once they want to live here, it’s nearly impossible, or hard. Third Verse: This is our ‘American citizens’ and our country, and how the American Jesus, probably isn’t the best for us. That would be the end. It may not be right, but It’s my interpretation on it and what I’m going to stick to =) | |
