Did you read his post properly? Yes, Prince effectively invented text speak 15 years and no-one can complain if the printed lyrics are full of 4 U 2 Ur etc, but they're also full of "docter" and "flys" and "beverly hills" which are just plain wrong and things like "alrite" and "de" when no such thing is found in the original lyric sheet. |

I think "care lines" could also be wrinkles, maybe a different word for "worry lines". Thus talking about an old woman approaching death. |

I think the car crash thing in the video is more metaphorical.
I take it all to mean that he's dumped this girl having made a typically male assessment of whatever situation he was in and decided that the "numbers and figures" don't add up. And later on he's realized that whatever objective assessment he's made, his heart is still in love with her and he wants to "go back to the start". |
