I love how it seems like Descendents song are sung just for you...coz there so relatable. Ataris's what?? i don't even know what everyones talking about with that. Descendents OWN pop punk. There just a great punk band really. And i think this song is just a cute love song. pretty simple. I'd melt into goo if a guy ever sang this to me =D |

Cheer would have to be my favorite descendents song. Their such a great band. I think its about the singer who was previously in a relationship and she broke up with him. He's saying how depressed he was after it, and thinking he could never love again. obviously he was heartbroken and sort of scared of falling in love again. So he's met this new great girl who just has something has about her and he's saying if she could treat him right and make him happy and love him, he thinks he could love her back. when he's saying he doesnt want to be dreaming Yesterdays dreams, he's saying he was always thinking his ex, holding on to all them feelings. when she goes to kiss im he turns away coz he's scared of moving on.. but now he really does just wants to move forward because this new girl could be awesome =) he realises he needs to stop comparing yesterday with today. yeah that just what i get out of it personally. most of there songs are there songs are pretty straight forward haha. the Descendents are so relatable. love them =) |

This song is so well written... My favourite line is "the four right chords could make me cry" its just so true how listening to a song with a simple four chord structure like this one can trigger so many emotions in people and change how they think entirely...its like music has the same effect as meth, it lifts you up and makes you feel invincible. I love this song so much =] |
