| I'm really glad that SYG wrote this. I may not be as famous as them, but I'm a lyricist and I know how difficult it is to have people understand your songs. Lyrics can speak so much and you can fit so much emotion into them with just a couple of verses. You want to speak your mind and change lives (through music) but then you have members of society that don't even get what your trying to say. They'll be like "Yeah! This song rocks!" But does it really? Do they honestly get what's going on? That's the bad thing about art and people. No one will ever fully understand the mind of an artist. | |

I absolutely love this song, and Zox, for that matter. It's incredibly sweet, even if it is about breaking up. I'm pretty positive that he clearly still has feelings towards whomever he sings for. Getting right down to it, this song is most definately one of my favorites. It's sweetly well written, captivating, lovely, and magnificent. |

Rise Against did such an amazing cover for this. Even if they usually aren't about intercourse. xD MissNeurotic-What the hell? It definately does not ruin Revolutions Per Minute, if anything, it makes it so much better. But I really fell in love with this song. Especially in this way. I laughed when I heard it. this song means numerous things to me. its not exactly as complicated as there others but its enough to not be able to figure it out completely. what im getting from it is that at times you can absolutely love a person, all the while wanting to hate them. that love is just confusing that way. one minute you may want to be the living shit out of them and the next you want them baddd. this song is saying to me that he wants her soo bad but she confuses him. that he'll never let her leave him and he'll never leave her. that shes so beautiful to him that it hurts she leaves him wanting more and leaves him weak. he wants to hate her but he has so much love for her that it over throws it. he loves her and doesnt want her to leave hes scared she will leave hes afraid. their relationship seems (at the part "And we lay, we lay together Just not too close, too close (How close is close enough?) And we lay, we lay together Just not too close, too close (How close is close enough?)" that he wants to feel that he respects her. to let her know that there can be limits if she needs them. && it seems like she wants them. it seems like shes the girls all the guys want be he wants her the most and is afraid he will lose her so eaisly. he protects her and it seems like all the while hes telling her this her back is turned. but all of this is in "the worst way." |
