The ending is perfect. Not just for Sigur Ros, for any artist. It retains that deep sadness that is Sigur Ros but still allows for a hopefull "pull" to the tone. Sigur Ros' beauty, to me, is their sadness and hope mixed together. It's enough to break your heart everytime you hear it. Can't believe there was a recording studio with this sound in it. I would pay anything to listen to that ending live. |
