This song is so sad. It is a song about committing suicide, and I do believe that it is at the mourn for her mother that drives her to do this. Because she mentions her mother: "Crouched down on a rooftop In my mother's high-heeled shoes I'm wondering if I will drop Fly away with you I can smell the rain coming But I won't leave until it falls I'm gonna soak in its downpour Til I hear my mother's calls" Which could mean that she is going to jump off the ledge of the building when the rain starts, and then when she is dead she will hear her mother calling out. "The roof slips beneath my feet As the branches back away from me The softest grass turns to concrete But I will fly I will fly You will see" Could mean that as the rain pours she does slip off the building, and as she is falling and after death she will "fly" to heaven to be reunited with her mother. |

| This song is really stupid, and disgusting. Honestly how can people praise such an offensive song? It's no where near good, that a seventeen year-old boy is talking about ejaculating on a girl's back. That's what "superman" is. It's ejaculating on a girl's back when she doesn't "put out". It is so disgusting that a kid is already completely disrespectful towards women, verbally and sexually. It is even worse when you hear Middle School students singing it, and they don't even know how sexist they are being. | |
