OMG ok I know no one cares at all, but this song reminds me of the summer I spent in Ohio at Geneva-On-The-Lake amusement park which isn't there anymore, and I remember laying in bed and it being really nice out and just listening to this song, well the whole cd at night. It was a great summer. Just had to put that out there. idk am I weird or are amusement parks just magical? Anyone else think that?? |

I love the part-Gone faster than the smell after it rains. How poetic is that?! He's a really god songwriter. I heard he went back home to get some inspiration for his album, So Long Astoria. Thats pretty cool. And I love how he references all these memories he has probly with a girl. How romantic. =) OH AND I CAN"T believe there isn't more comments on any of the Ataris' songs! IT IS UNBELIEVABLE! I mean here is one of the best bands of all time and there is like 34 comments on this song. weird |

This is a song full of so much emotion. He is trying to get this across to this girl/person he is singing to. Telling her how much she means to him and that she should stay who she is and not conform to other peoples standards. He likes her the way she is. One of my fav parts of the song is : Sunset over smokestacks, in the Midwest. It totally describes where I live...=) I just like to think that. Also this song totally brings me up when I'm down. I know alot of ppl probly say that but it does....Do u ever feel like cryin, do u ever feel like giving up?--so powerful, lets u know someone knows how u feel. Ur not alone. Great song. Can't wait for their next album, I hope its as good as their last.. |

Yea the first set of lyrics doesnt fit the version I have at all! BUT OMG I LOVE THIS SONG! (I have the version from Disturbia). The first time I heard it was during Disturbia and I wasn't even paying attention to the kissing scene I just was listening to the song so I could go get it off limewire when i got home. hehe. =) but ya awesome song, good band.
