renrenlove's translation of the 'refrain' is right, but the verses are a little off. And I think it's supposed to be "l'au-delà" = the afterlife, because "l'eau de là" means "the water from there", and well... ;) Oh, and "allô" means hello but is only used when you're on the phone. first verse : Allo Lola, it's me again, I've been thinking of you a lot, Lola Allo Lola don't hang up Don't put a stop [to this], Lola, oh my and second : Allo Lola, yes it really is me I haven't slept for [because of] you I can't believe it Allo Lola don't hang up Lola read in the afterlife, my pretty Lola I too think it's about a girl in love with another girl and confused about it :p |
