I do think it's referencing religion. However, I believe it's talking about the hypocrites/false preachers in Christianity. I'm a believer in Jesus so from my perspective, it's a shot at the false Christians, the ones who claim they know Jesus but act and do the complete opposite. They're the types too who will use God as a shield to cover up their evil deeds.
Also, it seems to be about preachers who are hypocrites that preach condemnation and hatred towards non-believers. |

I also agree with you ONe21...I'm a Christian as well, I believe in Jesus Christ as the Savior and God's only son..this song lays out what I feel about many of the churches and so-called "Christians" in America today. So many "Christians" believe their saved just b/c they go to church once a year and that they have "good moral values" so to speak. They think that anyone who does bad goes to hell, completely oblivious to the true meaning of Christianity in that Jesus sacrificed himself for everyone, regardless of what sins they've committed.
Strange, that in America so many people claim to be Christian and in reality are the furthest thing from it. Many churches are hypocritical in that they don't teach the true meaning of Jesus' teachings and sacrifice..they bend the scripture so that they are "socially" adherant and/or "politically correct". Then the congregation/staff will go about their daily lives not living according to the scripture but still claiming they know Jesus. It's pretty sad.

LOL, this is basically an emo band's ridiculous attempt at trying to sound metal..and failing miserably. Seriously, anyone can do those vocals..it's not hard..and the guitar player is one of the worst I've ever heard..no skill or melody whatsoever..and the drumming hahahaha
Simply put, this band is so bad they make Limp Bizkit sound decent..no wonder they don't have many fans haha |
