| I think the lyrics in this song are beautiful. I don't think the song is describing physical violence. i think it is a metaphor for the pain love can cause- "you hit me right in the heart". The way in which 'love' is personified, makes the song even more chilling- "cruel love", "sweet love". One of my favourite songs. | |
