Katy Perry – Use Your Love Lyrics 17 years ago
Katy Perry is probably the single best pop singer out today.
Her songs are catchy, some have amazing lyrics/heartfelt meaning and some have super-catchy repetitive belt-it-out, sing-a-long lyrics that just wont get out of my head. This song is fantastic and i've probably listened to it about 100 times in one day, no lie.
Just gotta love a gal who names her pet cat Kitty Purry.
Katy Perry = Love.

Katy Perry – Ur So Gay Lyrics 17 years ago
The comment from Somethingbiblical made me laugh.
After Lollipoppet was saying how people are discriminated against and it's a fact of life;
"No we don't have to live with it, we have to change it."
A very honorable response but realistically, it's not going to happen.
Anyways, to the song. It's all been said already so what i wanted to just say is that when she says the word Gay she is not meaning it in the worst way possible. when you think gay, you first think homosexual. And being homosexual isn't a bad thing almost 90% of us would agree. and all she is saying through this song is that men adopting the usual traits (not trying to mold all homosexuals into one mold here/stereotype them) of homosexuals such as wearing makeup and dressing in brand-name stylish clothes. This particular guy was acting over-emotional and apparently had a small penis because he was acting more of a woman than a man/was born with a small penis in the first place. She says "and you don't even like boys" Because he is adopting what is considered today as a gay lifestyle, just to be cool and attractive.
Conclusion: the song is great and the video is even greater
P.S. Katy Perry = Love.

Katy Perry – I Kissed a Girl Lyrics 17 years ago
Is it just me or does it piss anyone off how some people commenting are getting extremely racial and anti-homo over this song?
I personally love Katy Perry and i know she is Heterosexual. I agree with anyone who's commenting about how it is fine to just kiss someone of the opposite sex because your curious. And i also agree that everyone gets feelings about the opposite sex once in their life.
For god sakes its just a song, and yes the issues of Katy is being immoral and unethical in the song are valid but it's not meant to be a real life thing. She's singing about being drunk at a party and kissing another girl. It's not meant to be taken as complete truth.
In her other songs she sings about not being a piece of ass or a one night stand and sticking up for the female race while in this one shes telling us to be promiscuous with other girls. Example:
"If you want me, i'm not a piece of ass, a one night stand, a storage shed" - If You Can Afford Me
It's NOT A BIG DEAL.
Katy Perry has an awesome personality and by watching her in interviews and on Youtube you can see that shes just a fun loving girl.

What i'm really trying to say with my comment is that this song is meant to portray that the Female race is considered beautiful among both sexes and she's appreciating it throughout the song. Example:
"Us girls we are so magical, soft skin; red lips, so kissable"
She's just appreciating the whole female race by putting it into a song that will SELL to people these days which means sexing it up and making it sound like a drunken romp with a stranger who's feelings are never considered.
I personally love the song, and Katy Perry, and just wanted to get that out there to all the gay-bashers hooked on the fact that this song is about Katy being gay/bisexual. She's not. Or the fact that gay's should go to hell. They should be treated like people because they are. Or that fact that she's using another girl. It's a fact of life people will get used and abused, and the song is not non-fiction.
so anyways, for all of you who read this whole thing, Kudos
