i think hes using snow white as a parallel to what real live is like but half of the snow white refferences could also be cocaine refferences. such as the mirror refference because people quite often snort cocaine off of mirrors the "bloody nose" "how much it snowed" also cocaine refferences "i cant be your prince but your secrets are safe i am the mirror that can't let go" meaning due to your drug addiction i cant be with you, but i still love you compare this to "lapse" by them, theyre connected somehow |

Predisposed to perpetual sickness I refuse to let you all be witness hed rather "be put to sleep" than suffer living |

i definetly think this song is about herion, and i agree with lissyish703 that its about a relationship but not that a guys is trying to win a girl back but that two people that were truly in love were broken up by a heroin addiction and now the girl has moved on and married someone else, and she realizes that the child she has should have been her first loves child the whole begining seems to be a realization that humans are not always stronger than the things we put into our bodies ... drugs for example the line "i know you know how it feels to make a clean break" suggests that the girl was also at one time addicted to heroin, but made it through |
